Swim off the rocks
Sliema's seafront has rock platforms, ladders into clear water and summer lidos, a few minutes from the door.
Ferry to Valletta
The short harbour crossing lands you below the capital's walls. Go for the Upper Barrakka Gardens and the noon gun salute.
A day on Gozo
The fast ferry from Sliema takes about 45 minutes. Explore the Citadel in Victoria, Ramla Bay and the salt pans.
Walk the promenade
The seafront path runs from Tigné to St Julian's. Best at sunset, with a pastizz or a gelato in hand.
